I am grateful, simply for the fact that I can breathe

If you find it hard to find something to be grateful for, start by giving thanks for the fact that your body can breathe without your conscious awareness

The Art of Gratitude is a powerful catalyst that will move us both, out of time into the Holy Now, and raise our vibration. Mentally finding things to be grateful for is a simple practice. A practice that literally knows no boundaries and that may be performed in a very short amount of time.

In every single moment there is so much to be grateful for

Gratitude, as a spiritual practice, is only a breath away. It takes no more than a second to practice, and it is so simple that anyone can do it.

While having said that it is a simple practice we feel compelled to add that it is not always easy. Most people are in the habit of turning their attention to what is not working in their lives.

They are too preoccupied with focusing on the negative. So to the extent that it may be all but impossible for them to find something to be grateful for.

This is why this post have been written.

We are perpetually surrounded by the good of God

Most of us live in a world where we are constantly inundated by news flashing negativity upon us. We are lured to turn our attention away from the light of consciousness into the darkness of unconsciousness.

And we come to believe that all that we see and hear is true.

In such a world, it is understandable that it might be hard to find something to be grateful for. For those who look though, at any given moment there is more things to be grateful for than we can name.

We only need to train our minds to start looking for them. “Search and you will find” it is supposedly stated in Scripture.

One of the most basic things we can start off being grateful for is the fact that our bodies can breathe. They not only can breathe but the do it on their own without us having to be aware of it.

So our body takes a breath and then extracts the oxygen from the air circulating it throughout the body enabling the body to perform at the optimal level. All of this is done without any us consciously having to do anything.

This is an amazing process. and if you, as you are looking to find a space of gratitude, are having difficulty finding something to be grateful for.

Just start there. Start with being grateful for you being able to breathe and then simply allow your awareness to expand and take in the innumerable functions of your amazing body.

Being grateful is a habit

Gratiude will lift and increase your vibration. As you make this a daily practice, you will soon find that it becomes easier and easier for you to find something to be grateful for. Like for who and where you are for instance. Repetition is truly the key to learning.

If the only prayer we say is Thank You that will suffice.

It opens us up to be more and more receptive to the good that is terminally being given by God.

The more we are grateful, the more we will receive to be grateful for. As decreed by the sacred laws of the Universe.

Gratitude is a powerful and beautiful way of living and we would like to conclude with another powerful statement, worth contemplating:

the enlightened gives thanks for that which most people take for granted.
